Dynamic WordPress Templates

While creativity and customization are excellent for your site, certain elements like fonts, margins and other stylistic settings are important to keep the same. In my opinion, uniformity at scale = professionalism. One thing anyone will quickly discover when utilizing page builders with so many options is how difficult it can be to maintain stylistic uniformity. Without templates, simple tasks like updating phone numbers or call to action buttons can become massive projects. By utilizing custom fields with dynamic elements, I can design a range of templates that allow your website to scale up without creating inefficiencies down the line.

Custom Fields for WordPress

Whether or not you plan to grow, it’s always a good idea to have the ability to do so without needing to rework your entire site. For example, setting up a page hierarchy that allows you to easily silo and add new products and services as you gain the capability. With the right foundation, you should be able to simply plug in new content, whether it be products, services, writeups, videos, or anything else you decide to add down the line.

Create Dynamic Elements

I love the use of custom fields paired with dynamic page elements. One of my most beneficial projects involved creating a page query in a template that populated an accordion list of product categories. This allowed my team to build pages that populated related areas on the site by referencing tags and categories. The real benefit here though was being able to design one single template that was unique for different areas of the company. This meant we could make updates in one place as opposed to creating and keeping up with several different templates.

To stay efficient at scale, you need to be able to deploy style updates across your entire site. Since I utilize advanced custom fields, paired with dynamic elements, I can create a seamless experience for your visitors while giving you the ability to have unique content on each page. A setup like this gives you the best of both worlds, allowing you to efficiently make changes to custom content across hundreds of pages.
